New Port Richey Man Hit, Killed By Vehicle While Crossing Highway
The 73-year-old man died Saturday morning while trying to cross State Road 54 in Pasco County.
PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A 73-year-old New Port Richey man was killed while walking across State Road 54 Saturday morning in Pasco County, authorities said.
ABC Action News is reporting a Kia K5 was headed west on State Road 54 when it hit the man just east of Pecan Drive. The driver of the Kia, a 69-year-old New Port Richey woman, was not injured.
Police say the man entered the path of the vehicle when he was hit and killed, according to the news report.
