New Port Richey Police Seeking Old Cellphone Donations
The phones will be provided to people experiencing domestic violence, homelessness or the elderly, New Port Richey police said.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The New Port Richey Police Department is seeking old cellphone donations to help distribute to people who may not easily have access to one.
According to the police department, it will send the donated phones to the 911 Cell Phone Bank in Ocala.
They are then cleared and repackaged to be provided to people in the community who need a 911 cellphone. This may include people experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, or the elderly.

You can drop off your old phones at the front desk of the New Port Richey Police Department from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. during the week.
