Pasco Education Foundation Names New Executive Director

The organization has new leadership.

The Board of Directors of the Pasco Education Foundation, Inc. recently announced that Tom P. Avramis is its new Executive Director.  The selection was made after a national search was conducted which began in January of this year, according to a press release issued by the foundation.

Avramis was most recently the President of Levendi & Associates, a private consulting firm for non-profit organizations and NGO’s.  Avramis brings to the Pasco Education Foundation over 22 years of executive level leadership in the nonprofit sector.

Among his leadership roles was that of President and CEO of Advanced Education Services in Califorinia.  Avramis holds a Master of Science degree from California State University, a Master of Divinity from Holy Cross College, and received his Bachelor degree from the University of Arizona.

“We feel fortunate to have found such a qualified new leader for the Pasco Education Foundation,” said Donna Prentice, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pasco Education Foundation. “Tom will bring strategic leadership and creativity to the Foundation’s programs with a deep sense of commitment to advancing student achievement throughout Pasco County schools.”
