Pedestrian Killed Monday Night Crossing New Port Richey Intersection
Troopers said an SUV driven by a 17-year-old boy struck the pedestrian, who died at the scene.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A pedestrian was killed Monday night after being struck by a vehicle.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 6:50 p.m., a sport utility vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Port Richey boy was traveling south on Little Road toward the intersection of Schrader Boulevard. The pedestrian, a 49-year-old New Port Richey man, was walking west across the road and entered the path of the vehicle.
Troopers said the SUV struck the pedestrian, who died at the scene.
