Port Richey Man Killed Saturday While Crossing U.S. 19

A 67-year-old Port Richey man is dead after being struck by a sports utility vehicle while crossing U.S. 19 Saturday.

PORT RICHEY, FL — A 67-year-old Port Richey man is dead after being struck by a sports utility vehicle while crossing U.S. 19 Saturday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 9:45 p.m. a 52-year-old Port Richey woman was driving south on U.S. 19, north of Edna Avenue, when the Port Richey man attempted to cross U.S. 19 and entered the path of her sports utility vehicle.

The man died at the scene.
