Road Condition Update: Stay Off Part of Trouble Creek
Rising waters in the Mill Pond Estates and Mill Run housing developments make those roads rough.
A part of State Road 54 is still closed in the New Port Richey area and now travelers are also being asked to stay off of Trouble Creek Road between Thys Road and Little Road.
“Portions of Trouble Creek Road are also limited due to rising waters in the Mill Pond Estates and Mill Run housing developments,” Kevin Doll, spokesman for thew Pasco Sheriff’s Office, wrote shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday.
the New Port Richey area was closed down Monday evening due to rising flood waters and remained closed Tuesday. The section of 54 announced Monday to be closed was from Old Mill Pond Drive to Celtic Drive.
