Rock the Park, Art and Rec Bash

Rock the Park at Sims Park will feature great live music over Friday and Saturday all for free! The music is set to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday with acts from across Tampa Bay performing. For more information and a full lineup, check out www.­rtpsi­mspark.­com.

Saturday

Looking for some late-night sports action? Check out the Rec Bash at the New Port Richey Recreation Center. They'll have basketball starting up at 8:30 p.m. and going until 11 p.m. Members can join in free and the cost is $5 for non-members.

The Progress Energy Art Gallery is hosting a May exhibit of portraits done by Xanthe Chrisaidos, a local SPC graduate. Her portraits are traditional oil-based works and have been featured across the Bay at places like the Leepa-Ratner and USF. Doors open at noon.
