Stray Bullet Strikes Innocent Bystander
Pasco County deputies are investigating a Thursday night shooting that left an innocent bystander injured.

PORT RICHEY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Thursday night shooting that left a 56-year-old man injured.
According to the agency, deputies were called out to an apartment in the building at 8540 Congress St. around 8:45 p.m. April 20. When they arrived, they found Harry Gordon Jr., suffering from a gunshot wound. Gordon was inside the front screened porch area of his home, an email from the agency said.
Deputies say preliminary information indicates a verbal spat broke out between people outside Gordon’s apartment. That dispute escalated when someone began shooting rounds from a 9mm firearm, striking Gordon.
