Taste of Pasco Celebrates Three Years

The event will be held on May 11 in Land O' Lakes.

Pizza. Cakes. And pulled pork, oh my.

These are just a few of the delicious eats that will be showcased at The Taste of Pasco event set to take place on Saturday, May 11 from 4-7 p.m.

This marks the third year for the community event organized by Leadership Pasco. The membership organization seeks to provide a network for business and community leaders throughout the county.

This year's Taste will benefit NAMI Pasco, the Pasco County chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

"The Taste of Pasco is a good way to raise money for a wonderful cause," said Nikki Alvarez-Sowles, Leadership Pasco Class of 2013 president and Chief Operations Officer for the Pasco County Clerk and Controller in a news release. "At a time when the issue of mental health has become a national conversation, NAMI Pasco will be a visible beacon of light and hope in our community for those seeking help and direction."

In addition to a variety of food options, Taste goers will be able to enjoy live music, children's activities and silent auction.

The Taste of Pasco will be held at 15323 SR 52 in Land O' Lakes, Fla.

Tickets for the event are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Kids 12 and
under are free. Tickets are available online through
