West Pasco Man Accused of Molesting Girls
Douglas Slaney was charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious conduct.

A 48-year-old Seven Springs/Trinity man has been accused of sexually molesting two girls.
According to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, the man would press up against the victims while he was wearing underwear and rub his sex organ against them.
There were multiple incidents and on at least one occasion he kissed the girls on their mouths, according to the arrest report. One victim told a detective he put his tongue in her ear, made her sit on his lap at least once made her touch his sex organ.

These incidents happened when the girls were between 9- and 13-years-old, according to the arrest report. The victims are now 19.
The man told a deputy he drank alcohol during the incidents. The deputy states he explained to the man that “sometimes when you drink alcohol, it makes you do things you wouldn’t normally do." The man replied: “That’s what I’m afraid of.”

After speaking to the deputy, the man resigned from a job working at North Bay Hospital as a registered nurse.
Pasco County Sheriff’s spokesman Kevin Doll said the man was acquainted with the victims.
Douglas Eugene Slaney of 7451 Swan Lake Drive was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious conduct. He was released from the Land O' Lakes jail the same day on $10,000 bond.
