Whiskey Joe’s Port Richey Groundbreaking Set
Construction on Port Richey's own Whiskey Joe's is set to begin soon.

PORT RICHEY, FL — Tampa Bay area residents and visitors will soon find a new Whiskey Joe’s Bar & Grill location open to serve them. Groundbreaking on the Port Richey establishment is set to take place on July 20. The new eatery is scheduled to begin serving up dishes in December.
The Port Richey location will be the third in the state. The original Whiskey Joe’s opened in the Rocky Point area of Tampa more than 35 years ago. A Miami location opened in 2012. All three locations are owned by California-based Specialty Restaurant Corporation.

The Port Richey location will feature a barefoot tiki bar, beach access, live entertainment, boat pull-ups, fire pits and wall-to-wall windows looking out on the water, officials say.
“The new Whiskey Joe’s location will focus on Port Richey’s greatest attribute – the water,” Martin Duffany, Whiskey Joe’s brand manager, said in a statement. “We look forward to being one of the first locations here where guests can enjoy beautiful waterfront views and the fun and laidback atmosphere found only at Whiskey Joe’s.”
