Woman Arrested After Wandering 54 with Child
Vanessa Lynn Statham, 25, was arrested and charged with child neglect and possession of paraphernalia.

Authorities have arrested an Elfers woman who was reportedly found wandering State Road 54 Monday morning without footwear, followed by a 4-year-old child, who was also without footwear.
According to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, the woman was under the influence of synthetic marijuana, or “Spice,” and was unable to take care of herself, let alone a child.
The arrest report says drug paraphernalia and prescription medication was found witin a child’s reach at a home.

A glass bong with a residue that tested positive for marijuana was found in her home.
Vanessa Lynn Statham, 25, of the 4900 block of Venus Ave., was arrested Monday and charged wih child neglect and possession of paraphernalia. She remained in custody Tuesday morning in lieu of $5,150 bond.
