An elderly witness, who is over 65 years old, tried to intervene and was pushed by the suspect, but not injured.

The witness told investigators that Sheffield admitted to setting the RV on fire and said she “wanted to kill everyone,” according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies found Sheffield, who admitted to them that she set the fire, holding a cigarette light in each hand when they arrived.
