There was music and beauty on the banks of the Pithlachascotee River on Saturday.
The annual Bright House/Bay News 9 Cotee River Seafood and Blues Festival had returned to Sims Park in downtown New Port Richey. Craftspeople plied glass flowers, handmade signs and other handmade works. Local bands played live blues music as adults, teenagers, children and dogs enjoyed the festivities.
And of course, there were ample samples of seafood, from clam striops, to shrimp to grilled mahi-mahi.
