Give Food, Get Free Stuff in Palm Harbor
Join the Patch RV as it rolls through Palm Harbor on Thursday and Saturday collecting food for hungry families. What's in it for you? Find out here!
You may have seen our big, green Patch RV on the road over the past few weeks collecting food for hungry families. This week, it makes a last stop in Palm Harbor on Thursday, followed by a grand finale birthday party in Palm Harbor on Saturday!
We'd love for you to come say "hello," and we'd love it even more if you bring a canned food item for our ! (Our goal is to collect 2,000 pounds of food for hungry families in Tampa Bay.)

THURSDAY, May 24
, 7-9 a.m.

- Who'll really dig it: Morning people, coffee lovers, and commuters.
- What's happening: See our super cool big green Patch RV and get your morning off to a great start with free coffee.
- Why go? Get a free coffee if you bring a non-perishable donation for the Patch food drive!
, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Who'll really dig it: People who like ice cream and hungry people.
- What's happening: A lunchtime FOOD TRUCK RALLY! 'Nuff said.
- Why go? Get a free ice cream sundae if you bring a canned food item for the Patch food drive! How cool is that?
, 4:30-7 p.m.
- Who'll really dig it: Parents, grandparents, teens, kids, people who like ice cream, people who like to play games and hang out.
- What's happening: We're camping out for a few hours for some familly-friendly games (with prizes, whoo hoo!) and afternoon dessert.
- Why go? Get free ice cream if you bring a canned food item for the Patch food drive! (Plus, have fun playing games with us!)
SATURDAY, May 26
, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Who'll really dig it: Animal lovers, parents, kids, grandparents, primates.
- What's happening: It's a birthday party and you're invited! Palm Harbor Patch celebrates its 1st birthday with Pongo, Joey and the rest of our Suncoast primate pals. We'll have cake for everyone and activity stations for the kids.
- Why go? We love you, our readers and contributors, so much, we're paying admission for anyone with a Palm Harbor address on their driver's license (After all, we wouldn't do what we do if we didn't have you!)
If you can't make it to any events, you can still donate food to the cause. Just drop a non-perishable food item in a designated box at . We'll make sure it gets to the right place!
