Local Girls' Lemonade Stand Raises $1,500 For Suncoast Animal League
The "Sunshine Girls" of Tarpon Springs recently presented their check to the Palm Harbor animal rescue organization, WTSP 10 News reports.
Two area 12-year-olds have helped raise more than $1,500 at a lemonade and cookie stand for Palm Harbor's Suncoast Animal League, WTSP 10 News reports.
The "Sunshine Girls," Sarah Tinsley and Eleni Lambrianos, of Tarpon Springs, raised $1,503.65 at their stand Oct. 27, according to WTSP's story. It was the fourth year the girls have operated the stand.
"It started as a gifted community service project," Lambrianos told WTSP. "We loved it and we are doing it every single year now."

The girls presented a check to Suncoast Animal League at its annual Dogtoberfest celebration.
