Authorities have arrested a man who they say robbed a Palm Harbor bank earlier this week, and they have a Patch reader to thank. Detectives received a call Friday from a resident who said they saw a photo of the suspect on Palm Harbor Patch and thought they recognized him. The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Cody Waugh of Palm Harbor, admitted to robbing the Bank of America, 4000 Lake St. George Dr., in an interview with detectives. Waugh told them he "used some of the stolen money to catch up on his rent, pay for furniture rental, and to purchase personal items for himself and his wife," according to a media release from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Waugh is charged with strong arm robbery and <a href="http://pcsoweb.com/InmateBooking/SubjectResults.aspx?id=1527103" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">was released from Pinellas County Jail on Friday after posting $10,000 bond</a>, according to online records.
