Police Recover Cocaine, Ammunition from Home

Police arrested Dexter Mills on charges of cocaine and drug paraphernalia possession and ammunition by a convicted felon.

A search of a home Thursday by Sarasota Police on 29th Street in Sarasota resulted in an arrest of a convicted felon.

The Sarasota Police Tactical Narcotics Unit with assistance from the Strategic Narcotics Unit, the Street Crimes Unit and Uniform Patrol officers executed a search warrant at 1770 29th St where detectives seized about 15.3 grams of powder coccaine, various drug paraphernalia and a box containing 9 mm ammunition, accoridng to a news release issued by the

Any property that is used for illegal narcotics, prostitution or criminal gang activity is reviewed for possible sanctions under the City of Sarasota’s Nuisance Abatement Program, police said.
