1 Pedestrian Killed, 1 Critically Injured On Central Ave: Police
Central Avenue was shut down near 21st Street for a few hours following a fatal pedestrian crash, officers said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A truck hit a man and a woman as they crossed Central Avenue at 21st Street Friday night, St. Pete police said.
The victims were hit at 8:10 p.m., according to authorities. The man died at the location, and the woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Detectives said the driver stopped and spoke with investigators.
Central Avenue at 21st Street was closed for a few hours during the investigation.
