2 Found Dead In Idling Car In St. Pete Homicide Wednesday Morning
Investigators are working to determine what caused the deaths of the two 20-something adults.
ST. PETE, FL — Authorities in St. Petersburg are investigating what they believe to be the killing of two people in their 20s found dead in a running car early Wednesday morning.
The bodies were found after a person in the area called 911 around 1:33 a.m. to report a dark-colored Chevrolet that had been idling for a suspicious amount of time, St. Pete Police Department spokesperson Sandra Bentil said in a news conference Wednesday morning.
When officers arrived, they found a man and woman dead inside the car in the 1400 block of 34th Street South.

The victims were identified as 27-year-old Larrisha Williams and 23-year-old Jerome Clark, according to several media reports.
Bentil said the "unintended" deaths are being investigated as a homicide. As of Wednesday morning, investigators had not yet determined how the victims died or what circumstances led to their deaths.

Authorities asked nearby residents with security cameras and anyone who witnessed the deaths or other suspicious activity to come forward.

Bentil said the roadway could be closed for "several hours" but declined to say when it is set to reopen.
