55-Year-Old Man Dies in St. Pete Pedestrian Accident

A 55-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident after being hit by two vehicles in the 2900 block of 34th Street N on Monday night.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL - A 55-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident after being hit by two vehicles in the 2900 block of 34th Street N on Monday night, police said. The man was identified as Hank Henry William Taylor. Police said he walked, midblock, into the path of a Ford Explorer traveling southbound on 34th Street about 7:07 p.m. Monday. The Explorer was driven by David Baker, 58.

A 2013 Nissan Altima driven by Julius Hayes, 32, also struck Taylor. Both drivers stopped at the scene. The investigation into this crash is still underway, but no charges are expected.
