Accused FL Convenience Store Robber Stole Cash, $7K Worth Of Lottery Tickets

The suspect in the May 5 robberies of a St. Petersburg 7-Eleven and Circle K was arrested for stealing lottery tickets, cash, police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The suspect wanted in the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven earlier this month was arrested for stealing about $7,000 worth of lottery tickets at a Circle K earlier the same night, St. Petersburg police said in a news release.

Justin Farley, 43, was identified as the 7-Eleven robber after being arrested and charged with grand theft and burglary for a different crime at Circle K, 1598 54th Ave. N., police said. He’s in federal custody.

Farley went into the Circle K on May 5 just before 8:30 p.m. and stole the lottery tickets.

Later that night, just before midnight, he went into the 7-Eleven at 8405 4th Street N. and threatened the clerk at the register at gunpoint.

He stole cash and cigarettes before forcing the clerk into a storage room, police said.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) helped with the case.

The investigation is ongoing.
