Achieva Credit Union Robbery Suspect Arrested

Thor Ian Gensinger, 35, of St. Petersburg was arrested and charged in the robbery of an Achieva Credit Union at 413 62 Avenue N. Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

St. Petersburg Police say a witness at the bank followed Gensinger after he robbed the bank and saw him enter the El Patio Motel at 6733 4th St. N., according to the press release.

Gensinger was found in one of the rooms and came out with his hands up when officers arrived. He was arrested without incident, police say.
