Good Morning, Sunrise Omelet at Lucky Dill

Located on one of the busiest strips in downtown St. Pete, the Lucky Dill is a New York Style restaurant that is always full with customers. Breakfast and lunch are their specialty.

Blue Plate Specials offer homestyle favorites like Country Fried Steak, BBQ Pulled Pork, Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes. Sandwiches, wraps, salads and a lengthy breakfast menu also pull in guests.

I've had and love the sandwiches at the Lucky Dill, but I had never tried their breakfast. Boy, was I in for a treat. The Avocado Sunrise Omelet was massive in appearance. Avocado, tomato, cheddar cheese and sour cream were nestled beneath a three-egg omelet. As if that was not enough food, it came with potatoes and toast too; all for just $8.50.

Needless to say, I had leftovers but the Lucky Dill's Avocado Sunrise was certainly the best thing I ate this week.
