Woman Killed In Single Crash When Car Submerged Into Water: Police
A woman died in a single-car crash early Tuesday morning when her car drove into a waterway near 62nd Avenue NE.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A fatal single — vehicle crash occurred Tuesday morning after a St. Pete woman drove into the water at a St. Petersburg bayou, St. Pete police said.
Thirty-three-year old Tabatha Anne Hunter's grey 2014 Volkswagen Passat crashed through a fence near the intersection of 62nd Avenue North and Bayou Grande Boulevard NE just before 7:24 a.m., authorities said. The Passat continued in Bayou Grande, where it became partially submerged, according to investigators.
Rescue personnel went into the water and removed Hunter's body from the car. Medical personnel pronounced her dead at the crash location. Police said she was the only person in the car.
