Body Found In Pond Near Vinoy Golf Club: St. Pete Police
A 72-year-old man's body was found in a pond near Vinoy Golf Club on Wednesday morning, St. Pete police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A body found Wednesday morning in a pond near Vinoy Golf Club has been identified as 72-year-old Charles Peterson, St. Petersburg police said.
A golf club employee found his body in the water in the 300 block of Belleair Drive N. around 8:30 a.m.
There were no signs of trauma on Peterson’s body.

Until the Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office completes its investigation, the incident will be listed as a suspicious death.
