Body Found On Weedon Island Identified As Missing Teen: Police
A body found Friday at Weedon Island Preserve was identified as a missing teen, 17-year-old Allister Samer Nasr, St. Pete police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A body found Friday deep in Weedon Island Preserve has been identified as a missing teen, 17-year-old Allister Samer Nasr, St. Petersburg police said in a news release.
There are no signs of trauma and no reason to suspect foul play, police said
The Pinellas County Medical Examiner is still working to determine the cause of death and is waiting for the results of further testing.

Nasr was last seen March 1, when he left his home on bicycle near the 6500 block of Bayou Grande Boulevard Northeast around 10 a.m
The bicycle was found Wednesday around 1 p.m. in the area of 94th Avenue North and San Martin Boulevard Northeast, south of Gandy Boulevard, near the preserve

Officers searched Weedon Island on foot, by drones, by helicopter, by boat and using thermal imaging in the days after the bicycle was found
