Canada Survives Clash with the Titans

On Friday night, Canada's Junior National Team faced off against St. Pete College.

St. Petersburg International Baseball is back in action. From March 6-18, there will be an 11-game showcase. Defending World Champions, the Netherlands have also returned to the diamond in an attempt to secure the title once again.

Friday night's mashup between a young Canadian team and the SPC Titans was fierce

The Titans hit the ground running by scoring two runs in the bottom of the first. However, Canada was on their defensive A-game and would only allow one more run from the Titans.

Canada's Junior National Team eventually overpowered the Titans by solid pitching and purposeful hits. The game ended after nine innings with a score of 6-3. Canada took the win.

The Junior National Team will be back in action tonight as they take on world champions, the Netherlands at 5 pm.
