Tantalizing Tuna at Crowley's
This week's "Best Thing I Ate" comes from Crowley's in downtown St. Pete.

doesn't only serve traditional plates like pub fries ($5.50), gravy and scotch eggs ($6). The downtown establishment has a wide variety of selections that would fit into most people's dietary needs. Vegetarian oat burgers ($9) are the best in town while the panko crusted salmon oscar ($16.95) is great for a protein lover.
I tried something a little bit different on my latest visit to Crowley's. C's Tuna Melt Muffin ($7.50) is an open faced, toasted english muffin with a mound of albacore tuna on top. The tuna is topped with a fresh slice of tomato and melted cheddar cheese. Kettle chips come on the side to add textured bliss to the combo. I try to stay true to what a "portion" size is meant to be. With that being said, this plate could easily be split between two people with a salad on the side.
Head on down to Crowley's for lunch or dinner and get your belly right.
