Death at Trailer Park Investigated

A neighbor found the 75-year-old man dead in his mobile home. Here is why deputies consider the case 'suspicious.'

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating what deputies said is a "suspicious" death at the Palace Mobile Home Park.

Deputies were called to the Lealman trailer park at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 11, by a resident who found 75-year-old William David Casey dead inside his mobile home.

Authorities did not disclose many details of the case, other than to say that Casey's death is "suspicious" because there was evidence of "upper body trauma."

The mobile home park is located at 2500 54th Ave. North.

The Robbery/Homicide Unit of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
