Diana Ross Reigns 'Supreme' at the Mahaffey Theater
The Mahaffey was sold out for Diana Ross' performance on Friday night.
After her bout with Motown and The Supremes in the 60's, Diana Ross set out on a solo mission. Her self-titled debut album took the world by storm when Ross' rendition of Marvin Gaye's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" hit #1 on the pop charts.
Ross continued to 'wow' audiences and music gurus around the globe. At 67 years old, Diana Ross has proved her staying power in music through the decades.
On Friday night at the Mahaffey Theater, Diana Ross took the stage in a sparkly gold and white gown, complete with a sheer tulle overcoat. She shed the overcoat after an introductory performance of the hit "I'm Coming Out."

With five costume changes, Ross kept the energy pumping for the whole hour-long show. Her wardrobe consisted of strikingly blinged-out gowns, each more stunning than the one before.
Fans grooved to her many hits, from "Upside Down" to her finale of "I Will Survive." Sitting was rare during the show- most of the crowd was on their feet for the majority of Ross' diva-licious performance.
