Possibly Win $500 By Donating To Help Others Through St. Pete's Utility Assistance Fund
Three St. Petersburg neighborhoods that donates the most money to the program could be eligible for a cash prize to help with events.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — This holiday season, residents in St. Petersburg can donate to the city's utility assistance program that helps those in need, and possibly win a $500 grant for your neighborhood.
Top three neighborhoods with the most enrollment in the utility assistance program from Nov. 1 to Jan. 1 will win a $500 mini—grant for neighborhood events or activities, according to a city news release. Winners will be announced by February.
Money from the program helps residents who can't afford to pay their bills.
