Fatal Shooting Arrest Made, 1 Suspect Still Sought: St. Pete Police
One arrest was made in the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old, while detectives are searching for a second suspect, St. Pete police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — One person was charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man last month, St. Petersburg police said in a news release.
Eddie Smith, 28, was arrested Nov. 7 for the October death of Anthony Ly.
Detectives are still searching for a second suspect, 23-year-old Datrik Pettis, who is wanted for first-degree murder, police said.

Ly was shot and killed on the evening of Oct. 30 in a driveway in the 2800 block of 16th Ave. S.
A reward is being offered for information about his death.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Pinellas at 1-800-873-TIPS. You may remain anonymous and be eligible for an up to $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
