FL Among Most Luxury-Obsessed States, New Analysis Says

FLORIDA — A new analysis has revealed that Floridians are more likely than residents of other states to enjoy living a life of luxury.

A recent study by gaming website Slot.Day analyzed key luxury indicators for all U.S. states to identify the ones where people are most into luxury living.

The research takes into account the share of millionaire households, billionaire rate, luxury cars and homes, as well as searches for luxury brands. The states were then ranked based on a final score calculated from the key indicators.

In the end, Florida came in at No. 5 on the list of states where people are most into luxury living.

According to the analysis, Florida is home to 78 billionaires and nearly 9.4 percent of households can claim millionaire status. Luxury real estate in Florida costs $697,388 on average and there are 42,857 fancy houses for sale in the state.

Other interesting findings from the study included the number of monthly Google searches for luxury items. According to the analysis, Florida recorded 136,480 searches for "Lamborghini for sale," more than 203,000 searches for Louis Vuitton bags and 149,210 searches for available Rolex watches.
