Missing Teen From St. Pete Found Safe: Police

A 13-year-old girl who went missing from her home Friday night has been found safe.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Madison Taylor has been found safe and reunited with her family, St. Petersburg police said.

Authorities have issued a statewide missing child alert for Madison Taylor, 13, of St. Petersburg as of Saturday morning, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement website said.

Investigators with the St. Petersburg Police Department said Taylor was last seen in the area of the intersection of 34th Street South and First Avenue South in St. Petersburg at 6 p.m. Friday. She is five-foot-five, weighs 200 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Taylor was last seen wearing a pink T-shirt and black leggings with skulls on the right side, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. She may drag her right foot, as she tends to walk toe to heel.

Anyone with information on Taylor's location is asked to immediately contact the St. Petersburg Police Department at 727-893-7780 or 9-1-1.
