ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Here's a guide to the best Florida weekend happenings from Tampa to Miami that include fancy red carpet comic events, a live performance of a new version of "Romeo & Juliet" with a happy ending, live music shows and family events.

One of this weekend's most anticipated events, Tampa Bay Comic Con, returns to the Tampa Convention Center after last year's cancellation due to the pandemic. Some of this year's celebrities include Joey Fatone, Daniel Logan who starred in "Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones" and Judith Hoag from the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" 1990 movie.
