Help Those In Need Through St. Pete's Annual CareFest
Roll up those sleeves and mow your elderly neighbor's yard, donate money to a charitable organization, deliver for a food bank and more.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Pete residents who want to give back in positive ways to their community can do so through the city's annual CareFest.
During CareFest, folks are encouraged to volunteer for local projects. It can be hosting a neighborhood cleanup, painting your elderly neighbor's house, beach cleanup, food delivery to homebound people or any way that is helping others.
Neighborhood and community-based groups, houses of worship, corporate teams, school clubs, businesses, fraternities, sororities and individuals are invited to participate in local projects from Sept. 11 through Oct. 17.
