See When, Where Holiday Fun Happens In St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg has numerous holiday happenings for Christmas 2021. Tree lighting, ice skating, visits with Santa, Snowfest and more.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — It's that time of year to view beautiful Christmas trees and decorations for the holiday season in St. Petersburg.
Here is a list of tree lighting ceremonies and other fun holiday happenings for friends and family:
- Tree Lighting at North Straub Park, 400 Bayshore Dr. NE, St. Petersburg; Saturday, Nov. 27, holiday entertainment starts at 6 p.m. and tree lighting by Mayor Rick Kriseman at 7 p.m. Lights will be up at the waterfront parks until Jan. 2.
- Sundial's Annual Tree Lighting Celebration, 153 Second Ave. N., St. Petersburg; Saturday, Nov. 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. Help Santa Claus count down to the lighting of the tree, and get a free picture with Santa.
- Neighborhood Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration, 4265 13th Ave. N., St. Petersburg; Saturday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.
Meet-And-Greet With Santa In St. Pete

- Santa Time at North Straub Park—Dec. 4 and 5, Dec. 10 - 12, Dec. 17-23, 6 - 9 p.m. Santa will be in a rocking chair chatting with kids and taking photos with them.
Snowfest
- A $5 wristband includes all activities like the toboggan slides for children and adults, inflatables, arts, food trucks and more. Wristbands can be purchased online or at any city recreation center Monday, Nov. 29 through Thursday, Dec. 16. Snowfest is scheduled Saturday, Dec. 18, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"Home Alone" shows Saturday, Dec. 18 at Crescent Lake Park, 1320 Fifth St. N., St. Petersburg. Spaces are limited. Lot will open at 7 p.m.
Chat With Santa On The Phone
- If your child is 8 years old or younger, Santa Claus wants to call them and chat about the holidays. In order for Santa to do that,one form per child must be completed and submitted to the city by Friday, Dec. 10. This is a free holiday activity. Santa will call your little one from Dec. 14 to Dec. 16. This is not an in-person event, according to the city.
Winter Beach
- Celebrate the holiday season with a real-ice ice skating rink and a water view on the St. Pete Pier. All levels of ice skaters are welcome. Winter Beach is at The Pier until Jan. 17 at 11 p.m. For tickets and more information, visit here.
