Man's Body Found In Egmont Key Area: Authorities
The FWC is searching for a missing boater from Nov. 17 in the area that the body was found.

EGMONT KEY, FL - A man's body was discovered in the area of Egmont Key on Sunday morning, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reported. The FWC received a call from the Coast Guard about 7:30 a.m. that a good Samaritan had discovered the body of a white male who appears to be in his 60’s.
The FWC is searching for a missing boater from Nov. 17 in the area that the body was found. Authorities are working to identify the body and will be notifying next of kin as soon as a positive identification has been made.
The investigation is continuing.

Egmont Key is primarily used as a wildlife refuge and no privately owned homes are on the island. Part of the island is a Florida State Park.
