Missing Endangered Teen’s Bike Found: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Police have found the white beach cruiser bicycle that belongs to a missing teenager.

The search continues for its owner, 17-year-old Allister Samer Nasr, who was last seen March 1, St. Petersburg police said. He was last seen leaving his home on bicycle near the 6500 block of Bayou Grande Boulevard Northeast around 10 a.m.

The bicycle was found Wednesday around 1 p.m. in the area of 94th Avenue North and San Martin Boulevard Northeast, south of Gandy Boulevard.

Since the bicycle was found, officers using drones, marine boats, and search-and-rescue bloodhounds and cadaver dogs have searched the Weedon Island Preserve area, police said.

“It's important that we find Allister as soon as possible. He's considered an endangered, missing person because evidence collected after his disappearance raised concerns about his personal safety,” investigators said.

Allister was last seen wearing blue shorts, a gray sweatshirt, and white shoes, and was carrying a black backpack on his back.

Shortly after leaving his home, he dropped off the black backpack on a nearby school campus and switched to a red backpack, police said.

Anyone with information about the missing teen is asked to call St. Petersburg police at 727-893-7780 or to text SPPD and the tip to TIP411.
