Moscato's a Convenient Pit Stop

Moscato's Bella Cucina is fairly new restaurant to the Central Avenue 400 block, which located in the heart of the city. With its nifty decor and authentic cuisine, Moscato's seems to be earning its place in the hearts of locals.

Since Moscato's is known for its Italian menu, I wanted to try something simple to get my foot in the door. Inevitably, I came across the "best thing I ate this week." 

The Bella Cucina Salad ($10) is a heaping pile of spinach and romaine. The mixture is topped with fresh mozzarella, artichokes, roasted red peppers, black olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, hot peppers and marinated mushrooms. I ordered the homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing on the side and it was to die for.

Aside from the food, Moscato's is an espresso bar specializing in imported espressos and other coffee drinks. Italian sodas are also available upon request.
