Motorcyclist Killed In Tyrone Boulevard Crash: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A Largo man died after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing while making a turn from Tyrone Boulevard Thursday night, St. Petersburg police said.

Michael Thomas Frye Jr. was heading south in the 500 block of Tyrone Boulevard N. when he was unable to negotiate the eastbound turn and hit a tree on the south side of the intersection just before 10:30 p.m., police said.

Both he and his passenger were brought to an area hospital, where Frye died from his injuries.

His passenger, Lynn Marie Bingham of Mississippi, suffered life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition.
