Old Northeast Neighborhood Yard Sale Is Saturday

For six hours Saturday, dozens of homes in the Old Northeast will simultaneously hold a yard sale.

The Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association is promoting the event. Just look for the yard signs, or check out the map attached to this article. There are enough homes taking part that it will be hard for even the most ambitious yard sale shopper to visit every home between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.

But treasures await for those who are up early and willing to rummage through items all morning. Here is the list of 2013 Yard Sales. Participating homeowners not only get to sell items they no longer want or need, but they also help out the neighborhood association.

The Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association is asking participating homeowners to give a donation (tax deductible) of $10 or 10% of their earnings. Donations help fund neighborhood projects.
