ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Police arrested 17-year-old Keyshawn Smiley on first-degree murder charges Monday morning after his 39-year-old cousin died from gunshot injuries, St. Pete police said.

Smiley and the victim, Ronald Gary, got into an argument early Monday morning at the home, 4114 Fairfield Avenue South, where they both lived, according to investigators. Smiley shot Gary multiple times, detectives said. He was taken to a local hospital where he died Monday morning.
