TAMPA BAY, FL — Looking for something fun to do this weekend? There’s something for every interest — LGBTQ+ Pride events, Adopt-a-Palooza, “Wicked” sing-along, “Little Shop of Horrors” and more.

Dunedin Pride

The city of Dunedin’s weeklong Pride festival kicks off Friday with a golf cart parade and Pride night at the Dunedin Blue Jays’ home game at TD Ballpark. On Saturday, the Fenway Hotel hosts a Pride Pool Party and Jack Pallino’s Brick Oven Pizza & Sports Bar hosts a comedy showcase. A Puppy Pride Park is also set for Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Dunedin Pet Supply. And Pride in the Park takes place Sunday at Pioneer Park. Find a full schedule of events here.

“Little Shop of Horrors”

This production of “Little Shop of Horrors” kicks off Friday and Saturday, taking the stage at Richey Suncoast Theatre in New Port Richey at 7 p.m. on both days.

Queens & Kings Rock Through The Ages Drag Bingo Benefit

Allendale UMC’s monthly charity drag bingo, which takes place Friday, 6 p.m., benefits Girls Rock Camp St. Pete this month. This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event. Girls Rock also hosts its volunteer meetup for its upcoming summer music camp for girls and gender-expansive youth on Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to noon, at Outcast Brewing Company in St. Pete.

“Wicked” Sing-Along

Kick off the end of the school year with this free family-friendly screening of “Wicked”and sing-along on Friday, 7:30 p.m., at The Bay Sarasota.

National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s 5K Challenge

Join this 5K at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon, to show support for children battling cancer.

She Wants to Run

The Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women hosts this transformative workshop for women of color planning to run for office or serve in civic leadership on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at The Children’s Board in Tampa.

Adopt-A-Palooza

The largest one-day pet adoption and expo-style event in Manatee County is back on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Bradenton Area Convention Center. Find a new pal among over 100 adoptable pets from Manatee County Animal Welfare, local shelters and animal rescues, and visit with dozens of pet vendors. Adoption fees will be waived in lieu of a donation to Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare.

HAAPI Asian Festival

Hosted by Mega Night Street Food Market, this festival, scheduled for Saturday, 3 to 10 p.m., at St. Pete’s Albert Whitted Park, celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander culture. There will be food, handmade crafts, and live music and other performances.

Pride & Passion: Timeless Tragedy

The Tampa Art Museum hosts its 19th annual Pride and Passion event on Saturday, 8 p.m. to midnight. Revel in the beauty of love in all its dazzling forms and immerse yourself in a Renaissance-inspired celebration where masked intrigue meets modern-day elegance. Raise a glass at our open bar, savor hors d’oeuvres from local LGBTQ+ friendly vendors, and enjoy spectacular performances. Funds raised support the museum’s Art Space and Connections programs.

Savor Sarasota Celebrates 20 Years

Savor Sarasota, which kicks off Sunday and runs through June 20, celebrates 20 years in Sarasota County. More than 50 restaurants throughout the county - from the barrier islands of Longboat Key and Lido Key to the downtowns of Venice, Sarasota and Englewood - will offer multi-course menus. Lunch menus will cost $25 per person and dinner is $45 per person.

Barleywood Beer Brunch

Indulge in a vibrant four-course Indian-inspired brunch on Sunday, 11 a.m., at Webb’s City Cellar in St. Petersburg. Each dish will be thoughtfully paired with beers from the acclaimed Green Bench Brewing Co.
