St. Pete DUI Wolf Pack: Results Announced

A Friday night crackdown on impaired motorists resulted in more than 50 arrests.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department has announced the results of its Friday night team-up with the Florida Highway Patrol to pull impaired motorists off area roads. Officers from the two agencies combined made more than 50 arrests and wrote more than 100 citations.

“This operation was part of the St. Petersburg Police Department’s commitment to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage associated with traffic crashes related to impaired driving,” the agency said on Saturday, March 18.

The breakdown of arrests and citations by agency is as follows:

St. Petersburg Police

  • DUI Arrests – 7
  • Arrests for driving while license suspended/revoked – 12
  • Drug arrests – 3
  • Moving violations – 63
  • Non-moving violations – 40
  • Other criminal citations – 3
