St. Pete Gets Lucky on St. Patrick's Day

The famed party holiday draws thousands of bar hoppers to the downtown area each year. Check below to see the top places to be this St. Paddy's Day.

Showcasing one of the biggest St. Pat's celebrations in the 'Burg, Durty Nelly's has earned their stay at the top for places to party. This year's 3rd Annual Block Party promises more than 20 bands, 10+ bars and swag giveaways galore. Less Than Jake and the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will be headlining the show. Admission is free and all ages are welcome, but 21 and up is preferred.

 

WOB in downtown St. Pete will be hosting a "4,3,2..Party" for the March 17th celebration. $4 Irish Car Bombs, $3 Murphy's Bottles and $2 Guinness Drafts are the main event at World of Beer. Live music from Will Erickson and Stimulus offers a guaranteed good time. The party is open to a 21+ crowd only and there is no cover.

Another downtown gem that shines for the all-green holiday is Crowley's. A Lot Party will be held at the Central Ave location with a Crowley's food tent, specialty vendors and full bar selection. The party starts early at 11 a.m. Live music from Seven Nations, Austin Ellis, Kaleigh Baker and the Bawdy Boys plays from noon until 10:30 p.m.

Two stages of live music make for an action-packed St. Patty's Party. Local acts will storm both the Jannus stage and the MacDinton's stage from noon until 3 a.m. Grab $4 green bottles of beer and many other drink specials, all day long. Irish Step Dancers and Bagpipers will entertain the masses between bands. 

 

The 7th Annual St. Patrick's Day Block Party will be taking place at Courigan's in downtown St. Pete. Since the venue opens at 8 a.m., live music is set to play from dawn 'til dusk. Traditional "Kegs and Eggs" will be served to early risers and the street will be blocked off so the party has room to grow.
