St. Pete Man, 25, Charged With Having Sex With 16-Year-Old
The man was staying with the girl's family during the alleged sexual relationship, Clearwater Police said.
A St. Petersburg man is charged with having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl over a three-month period in Clearwater, authorities said Friday.
Hubert Batista, 25, was arrested and charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor, according to Clearwater Police.
Between January and March, Batista was staying with the victim's family and had sexual relations with her, detectives said. The girl's family recently became aware of the relationship and contacted police.

Batista was being held on $10,000 bond and awaiting trial at Pinellas County Jail.
