Police ID Man Killed In St. Pete Shooting
An armed man who showed up to a St. Petersburg home early Saturday morning was shot and killed, police say.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating an early Saturday morning shooting that left a man dead.
According to the agency, Tyrone Walker, 35, was visiting a relative at a home in the 1400 block of 12th Street South. While there, he got into a dispute with an armed man who also showed up at the home. Walker, an email from police said, shot the man during the altercation.

After the shooting, authorities say Walker called police, waited at the scene and provided a statement to investigators.
Police have identified the man who died as Jay Devonne Powell, 29.

No charges have been filed at this time, according to the agency.
