St. Pete Woman, 18, Killed In McMullen Booth Road Crash
A two-car collision Saturday morning left a St. Petersburg woman dead and several people seriously injured.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal Saturday morning crash that claimed the life of a St. Petersburg woman.
According to the agency, Donavan Patterson, 18, of Pinellas Park was driving a 2008 Dodge Caliber south on McMullen Booth Road just before 1 a.m. March 11. At that time, a Ford F-250, driven by Dalton Cox, 22, of Clearwater, was heading east in the left turn lane of Curlew Road, nearing McMullen Booth.
Troopers say Patterson failed to stop for a red light and both vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The two vehicles collided, causing the truck to overturn, a highway patrol report said.
